Winter Waters Sea Veggie Cocktail Pop Up

Winter Waters is partnering with the bar team at Fracture Brewing and Wheyward Spirit for another cocktail pop up! Join us Thursday, June 8th all day (from noon-10pm) to try CARBON NEUTRAL cocktail concoctions made with sea veggies from Oregon Seaweed and Blue Evolution, plus a whey-based spirit made from upcycled excess whey from domestic dairies.

Winter Waters wanted to partner with Wheyward Spirit for several reasons: they’re a woman-owned company (we’re women-led, too!), and the company is committed to sustainability. Wheyward Spirit is certified carbon neutral by Carbonfund Carbonfree Product Certification Program. Sea vegetables farmed by Oregon Seaweed and Blue Evolution are actually regenerative - in that they give BACK to the ocean through photosynthesis, removing excess nutrients and carbonic acid, which oxygenates the seawater. With the one-two punch of Wheyward Spirits and seaweed, we’re proud to be able to serve carbon neutral cocktails at this pop up.

Bonus: it wouldn't be a party without excellent eats! Located steps from the bar, Lil’ America food carts Speed-O Cappuccino and Hawker Station will feature sea-veggie-centric dishes. New seafood spot Câche Câche (by Chef John Denison) will also have seaweed specials on the menu all day. Make sure to reserve a table through Tock. You can order cocktails at the Fracture Brewing bar to enjoy outside at the food cart patio or at Câche Câche.
